Anxiety can look like overthinking.
Tension.
Irritability.
Exhaustion.
A brain that refuses to shut off.
You wake up and realize it’s Monday again, and your stomach drops before your feet hit the floor.
You spent the weekend catching up, answering messages, doing one more thing, trying to get ahead.
And somehow you still feel behind.
On the outside, you look responsible, capable, and high-functioning.
On paper, you’re doing fine.
Privately, you feel overwhelmed, depleted, and like you’re always bracing for what comes next.
You may be carrying anxiety.
Chronic stress.
Burnout.
Or something more specific, like OCD.
Whatever brought you here, constantly operating in survival mode takes a toll.
Therapy can help you understand what’s happening, build practical skills, and create a more sustainable way of living.

Common signs anxiety and stress are taking over
• You struggle to relax, even when nothing is actively wrong
• You constantly replay conversations or worry about outcomes
• You feel tension in your body, such as headaches, stomach issues, jaw clenching, or a tight chest
• You’re exhausted, but your mind won’t shut off
• You feel behind no matter how much you accomplish
• You carry everyone else’s needs while ignoring your own
• You feel emotionally on edge or easily overwhelmed
• You have difficulty making decisions because you’re worried about making the wrong one
• You spend more time preparing for problems than living your life
What if it’s OCD?
Many people assume OCD is about neatness, organization, or handwashing.
Sometimes it is.
Often it isn’t.
OCD can involve intrusive thoughts, constant doubt, mental reviewing, reassurance-seeking, checking, rumination, fears about harm, relationship uncertainty, religious concerns, contamination fears, or an ongoing need to feel certain before moving forward.
The problem is not the thought.
The problem is getting trapped in the cycle.
I use Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), the gold-standard treatment for OCD.
ERP helps you learn how to respond differently to anxiety, uncertainty, and intrusive thoughts so they stop running your life.
What therapy can help with
Therapy with me is not about telling you to “just breathe” and pretend your life isn’t stressful.
It’s about understanding what your nervous system is doing, why it makes sense, and how to build a calmer and more sustainable way of living.
Depending on your needs, we may work on:
• Reducing overthinking and mental spirals
• Coping skills for emotional regulation and stress tolerance
• Learning how to calm your nervous system
• Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD
• Boundaries and burnout prevention
• Self-trust and decision-making
• Values-based prioritizing so your life stops revolving around obligations
• Untangling perfectionism, hyper-responsibility, and people-pleasing
• Building tolerance for uncertainty
My style
I’m warm, grounded, and compassionate.
I’m also direct.
We can acknowledge that something is hard without getting stuck there.
Anxiety often wants us to stay focused on everything that could go wrong, everything we haven’t done yet, and everything that feels overwhelming.
At some point, though, we stop debating whether it’s hard.
We know it’s hard.
The question becomes: now what?
Therapy with me is about helping you figure out what comes next.
We will work on understanding your anxiety, calming your nervous system, building practical skills, and making changes where change is possible.
We will talk.
We will reflect.
And then we’ll do the damn thing.
This is active therapy.
Not weekly venting with no follow-through.
